Growing up in the south of Germany, Joe has been skiing since the age of 6. Driving to the Alps on a Friday after school to squeeze in a weekends skiing was the norm. It wasn’t until the age of 16, being back in the UK and reduced to one or two weeks a season, Joe realized how much he loved and missed those quick hits.

Since then a gap year has turned into a lifestyle and career, spending winters in the Alps and summers in the southern hemisphere or the glaciers and snowdomes of Europe.

Competing in Freeride, Freestyle and Giant Slalom events Joe has built up a strong platform and adaptability discovering how the very different disciplines compliment each other and create a well-rounded skier.

Joe Coaches all of AMA’s specialist offerings year round, from Off-piste guiding, to Freeski summer camps, to Instructor training programs. Real All Mountain stuff!

David has been skiing since the age of 3. At first it was just a hobby, but as he got older it started to become a bigger part of his life. At the age of just 15 he started working as a ski instructor, instructing weekends and holidays. This really opened David’s mind, combining work with pleasure and having the opportunity to work outdoors all day, while doing what he loved most, Skiing!

After finishing school David was accepted into the The Swedish Ski School Academy, a yearlong ski instructor education based in Åre. The Swedish Ski School Academy mixes skiing, with studies in tourism and physiotherapy and played an important role in his skiing technique and development of instructing style.

David entered his first competition in 2005, the Swedish Extreme Skiing Championships, in Funäsdalen and was able to achieve 4th place. Since that day I have been competing more, getting well known for my aggressive style, big cliffs and innovative lines.

His competition results and strong skiing have given him the opportunity to ride with great photographers, gaining lots of exposure in ski magazines around the world.

JT has been skiing since the age of 3. It has always been his biggest passion in life. Starting his skiing career on Racing, competing from a very young age and eventually competing on the FIS circuit.

At 19 JT decided he needed a change in direction and discovered Freestyle and Freeride skiing. In his own words: “As soon as i started freestyle skiing i was hooked - i loved everything about it! I learnt everything the hard way - no trampolining, no gymnastics, just trial and error, but i had method, studying the top pro skiers and breaking down the motions. This insight has led me to help many skiers in all disciplines, from freestyle to everyday piste skiing.”

He must have been pretty handy, enjoying competition success, international media attention and sponsorship from many International Brands. Even becoming a Brand Ambassador for Eristoff Vodka!

JT was one of the Original Coaches on the “Pat Sharples Grom Camps” This gave him the opportunity to share his knowledge and experience while developing his own coaching techniques, helping many of Britain’s skiers through their own progression, safely and effectively. Many of whom have gone on to become Pro skiers themselves and enjoyed International success.
